Project Manager

The role of an LVH project manager can best be summarized as: perform basic project management duties such as project organization, budgeting, scope, scheduling, and purchasing/production functions as required to lead projects through the entire design, manufacturing, and installation process. An understanding of ETC lighting technology, or theatrical rigging engineering/technology or previous construction management experience, as well as familiarity with Microsoft Office Programs will help a candidate hit the ground running in this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• A professional manner with internal designers, engineers, production team, and external contractors, field installers, and especially customers.
• The desire and ability to work in a highly collaborative and cross-functional team environment
• The interest and ability to dig into the details of specifications, drawings, and contracts.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and maintain awareness of multiple project schedules.
• Someone who can understand and meet construction contract requirements.
• Able to work well under pressure and de-escalate volatile situations.
Other duties may be assigned.

An understanding of ETC lighting technology, or theatrical rigging engineering/technology or previous construction management experience, as well as familiarity with Microsoft Office Programs will help a candidate hit the ground running.

Sales

We are looking for a professional and customer-centered personality that has the technical understanding and experience to support our large contracting and consultant client base.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following.
• A professional manner with vendors, internal partners, field installers and especially clients.
• Generate Estimates, Take-off’s and author proposals with appropriate terms and conditions.
• Assist with the development of market segments, revenue targets and handling key customer accounts.
• Ability and experience targeting/qualifying projects, and engaging with clients as required to meet revenue targets and strategic objectives.
• Strong vendor and supplier interface and skills working with our network and channel partners.
• The desire and ability to work in a highly collaborative and cross functional team environment
• Develop product and service based solutions to project challenges and oversee, document and coordinate the development of these solutions.
• Provide support to customers as necessary after the sale to maintain a positive relationship and ensure solutions provided continue to satisfy customer requirements.
Other duties may be assigned.

An understanding of ETC lighting technology is a plus.

Additional Skills Necessary:
• Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Mathematical: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Computer: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Inventory software; Manufacturing software; Database software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
• Other Qualifications: Ability to travel as required to attend trade shows, call on customers, or perform other sales functions as required.

Education and/or Experience: Associates Degree from 2-year College plus 4 years related
